In 2005 and 2009, respectively, I received my MSc and PhD in Computer Science from the UAB, the last one with a distinction &#8220;Cum Laude&#8221;.\u00a0Currently, I\u2019m an active member of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cvc.uab.es\/adas\/site\/\">ADAS<\/a> group in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cvc.uab.es\/\">Computer Vision Center<\/a> and associate professor in the Computer Science Department in the UAB.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Research interests:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>My main research interests have been focused on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Image processing techniques, such as segmentation and motion and dynamical parameters estimation<\/li>\n<li>Mathematical models like contour geometry, geometric flows and variational models<\/li>\n<li>Optical flow techniques<\/li>\n<li>Performance evaluation<\/li>\n<li>Driving behaviour evaluation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Awards and Honors:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Award in the Premis Fundaci\u00f3 Caixa de Sabadell (2004) for the MSc<\/li>\n<li>Extraordinary doctorate award (2008\/2009)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Reviewer:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging<\/li>\n<li>IEEE Transactions on Information Technology in Biomedicine<\/li>\n<li>Biomedical Signal Processing and Control<\/li>\n<li>International Journal of Advanced Robotics Systems<\/li>\n<li>Computational and Mathematical methods in Medicine<\/li>\n<li>International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health<\/li>\n<li>Several International Conferences<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I received my degree in Mathematics from Universitat Aut\u00f2noma de Barcelona (UAB, Bellaterra, Spain) in 2002.
